A good tutoring lesson plan has one clear objective, a short warm-up, focused teaching, guided then independent practice, and homework that reinforces the day — a structure you can reuse and adapt per student.
Name what the student will be able to do by the end. One is enough.

Model it, do it together, then let them try alone. Release responsibility gradually.
